Théâtre St-Denis

Built in 1915 as a movie house, the Théâtre Saint-Denis anchors the Espace St-Denis complex at 1594 rue Saint-Denis in the Quartier latin. Over a century of continuous operation, the building shifted its focus to performing arts in the 1980s and now hosts musicals, theatre, concerts, and a heavy slate of stand-up comedy, including during the Just for Laughs festival. The complex holds two performance halls: the main Théâtre St-Denis seats 2,218 across floor and balcony, while the smaller Studio-Cabaret offers an immersive 180-degree screen setup with a dinner-show option.
On the food side, Le Molière is a French brasserie, and the Trattoria del Teatro has a terrace overlooking Saint-Denis. The whole operation is run under the Espace St-Denis banner, which positions the complex as a hub where entertainment and dining share a roof in the heart of the Quartier Latin, part of the Quartier des Spectacles.
