3 Femmes Et 1 Coussin

The name has outlasted its original trio and the cushions are long gone, but 3 Femmes 1 Coussin has been shaping how Montreal restaurants look since 2001.
Annick D'Amours and Sandrine Leduc met waiting tables at Ferreira Café, where they noticed that what a dish was served on mattered as much as what was on it. They started with textiles, funded early orders with their tips, and built a wholesale and import business that now supplies some of the city's most recognizable tables. Leméac, Chien Fumant, Chez Delmo: the plates you've eaten off without thinking about them were likely chosen here.
Their Gilford Street boutique, open to the public since 2004, carries porcelain, stoneware, glassware, and flatware including collections from Vista Alegre, the Portuguese manufacturer for which they remain Quebec's sole importers. Individual pieces from any collection can be mixed and matched with staff guidance.
