Bad Bones Brewery

Zack Heuff was a bartender turned homebrewer when a head-on collision with an eighteen-wheeler on black ice near Dunham put him in a coma for four days and a wheelchair for months after that. The accident kept him off the commute that had defined his old life, and eventually pointed him toward a new one. Operating out of a rented corner of Brasserie Dunham's building, Bad Bones brews small, intentional batches of hop-forward ales with names that wear the origin story lightly: Femur, Tibia, Pre-Death Experience. The beers themselves are tropical and fruit-forward rather than bitter, designed to pull in both dedicated hop heads and curious newcomers.
