Articho

Articho operates less like a gift shop and more like a living archive of contemporary craft. Located in Villeray, the boutique brings together the work of close to 100 artisans from Quebec and across Canada, spanning pottery, jewellery, skincare, paper goods, and everyday objects. The emphasis is on handmade production and small-scale makers, many working solo, which shapes both the pace and the personality of the space. Each piece is selected with an eye toward quality, coherence, and how it fits into the shop’s broader ecosystem. Articho’s real currency is attention: to the makers behind the objects, and to the people walking through the door looking for something that carries a story with it.
