Café Lézard

Café Lézard has been anchoring Vieux-Rosemont since 2001, long before “buvette-café-caviste” became a familiar hybrid. Run today by Rachel Chevalier who started here as an employee before taking over, the space stays flexible: By day, it’s a café where laptops and conversations coexist without friction. As the hours stretch on, it shifts into a neighbourhood dining room and wine bar.

The kitchen leans toward comfort: soups, tartares, salads, grilled sandwiches, and a handful of dishes that regulars return for with near-religious consistency. The wine list leans heavy on natural bottles from Quebec and Europe, built for drinking instead of collecting at accessible prices and rotating discoveries.
