Era Vintage Wear

Founded by Elaine Leveille in 2004, this Saint-Henri boutique treats archival clothing less as relic and more as raw material. Pieces dating from the 1920s through the late 20th century are repaired, reworked, and sometimes fully reconstructed into contemporary garments guided by runway references. Sleeves become tops, hems turn into skirts, and leftover fabric finds its way back into circulation. The approach is deliberately hands-on, rooted in craft and a near-zero-waste philosophy rather than trend-chasing. Era positions vintage as a living design practice: expressive, adaptable, and wearable now. For shoppers wary of fast fashion but uninterested in costume, it offers an alternative of longevity, skill, and the idea that style is something you shape, not bought off a rack.
