La Toxica started as a side hustle and turned into one of the city’s most reliable destinations for birria. Owner Rosa Castellanos began selling tacos online in 2020, building a following before committing to a brick-and-mortar spot on Saint-Hubert. The menu is tight by design—birria front and centre, backed by tacos like cochinita pibil, shrimp, and lengua—with everything is cooked to order.
