Nita Tout Garni
This place has permanently closed.

Born out of pandemic-era ambition and a long-standing friendship between some of Montreal's most passionate hospitality people, Nita Tout Garni spent five years quietly becoming one of the Mile End's most dependable lunch spots. The schnitzel sandwich was the headliner, but the homemade bread, exceptional focaccia, and carefully sourced natural wines—courtesy of co-owners who ran their own import agencies—made it something more than a sandwich shop. Anchored Coffee supplied the beans; the floor was designed by the same hand behind Elena. It closed in 2025 after five years on Parc Avenue.
