Phin Cafe

Phin Café is what happens when Vietnamese tradition meets third-wave precision. Tucked onto Rue Roy Est, this bright, warmly designed space is equal parts cozy hangout and cultural homage. Owner Đan—who traded a biotech career in Vietnam for a barista apron in Montreal—curates a menu that spans from egg coffee and cà phê sữa đá to bánh mì and buttery grilled cheese. Beans are sourced from indie roasters like ZAB and Rabbit Hole, and the vibe shifts from sunlit work zone to relaxed reading nook depending on where you land. A place to linger, not rush—each cup brewed with intention and soul.
