On October 23, 2025, ROYALMOUNT turned its Urban Park into a fashion runway built for the colder temperatures, and one thing Montrealers care about as we approach the first frosts of the year and beyond: winter coats that look good and keep you comfy until April.
Over 1,500 people showed up to see eight brands—Boss, Mackage, Moose Knuckles, Rudsak, Quartz Co., Michael Kors, Sports Experts, and M/2 Boutiques—unveil their Fall & Winter collections in a complimentary outdoor fashion show. Rennaï and Tom Ford joined the runway with their own takes on fall and winter (minus the parkas), and the soundtrack included a live performance by Milk & Bone followed by a DJ.

All of this in a city where winter wardrobes are both survival gear and personal brand, where the right coat is a way to stand out in a crowd and outside. And it wasn't uncomfortable, either—the snow-frosted décor and striking runway looks created an atmosphere that felt electric from the moment the first model stepped out:

Three angles
ROYALMOUNT offered three ways to watch the show, depending on how you wantd to experience it:
- Elevated: Spots on the terrasse of Le Fou Fou (second floor) offered elevated views that were heated and seated over the runway. Up there, you were above it all—and the first-come-first-served setup meant early arrivals claimed the best sightlines.
- Immersive: Standing room only in the Urban Park, where you're close enough to see the details—the stitching, the cut, the way a coat moves.
- Right in it: Reserved tables on the elevated Mexican terrasse of Balam, directly alongside the runway, gave diners a dinner-and-a-show experience—think smoked crema, mole manchamanteles, and a mezcal cocktail while someone in Mackage walked by three feet away.
The event was designed to reignite the excitement of fashion show culture in Montreal, while positioning ROYALMOUNT as a central hub for community and creativity—and judging by the turnout and energy, it worked.

What it looked like in motion
As the cold crept in, attendees got to see what's worth investing in before the first real snowfall hits and something's panic-bought and regretted by December.
Only heavy hitters were on display, and the crowd got to see coats in motion, how they're built, and what winter style looks like this year.

Every element came together to create an experience that celebrated the style, talent, and culture that marked a memorable first edition of what's set to become an annual tradition at ROYALMOUNT.
And all of this came at no charge, with four hours of parking included, and an excuse to make a full night of it without leaving a single spot. The only real requirement was to show up ready to reconsider your current winter coat situation. Over 1,500 people did exactly that.
If you want to check out these collections for yourself, ROYALMOUNT is accessible by metro (De la Savane station via the covered walkway), bike, or car.
