Club Espagnol de Québec

Founded in 1969, the Club Espagnol du Québec has spent more than half a century as one of Montreal's more quietly distinctive cultural institutions. The kitchen turns out Spanish standards, tapas among them: gambas al ajillo, patatas bravas, tortilla española, pulpo, paella in several versions, and a full card of croquetas. The drink list runs heavily Iberian, with Spanish wines organized by DO, house sangria, and Estrella Damm on the bottle list alongside draft options. Regular flamenco tablao nights bring live performance into the mix, and the terrace seats groups up to 140.
