About

Perogie Lili is a delicious ode to Ukrainian heritage, wrapped in a warm dumpling shell. Nestled in Mile End, this family-driven spot exudes nostalgia, from its green-painted wainscoting and silver tin ceiling to a mural depicting Ukrainian seasons by Shefford’s Kur & Kul Arts. Founder Nestor Lewyckyj, inspired by his parents’ post-war immigration story, created a space that honours tradition while embracing Montreal’s culinary creativity.

The menu highlights classic savoury perogies—potato with sour cream and onions or sweet cheese with honey—alongside dessert options like le Cheese Cake, topped with sour cherry reduction and graham crackers, and the maple-infused le Coureur des Bois. These tender, steamed dumplings melt in your mouth, each bite a comforting reminder of home cooking.
