Tapi Go! (Plateau-Mont-Royal)

About

Tapi Go! started in Toronto, founded by Brazilian-Portuguese couple Clarissa Aguiar and Rui Raposo, before Luis Almeida brought the concept to Montreal in 2022 with a counter on Saint-Laurent Boulevard. A second location followed on Monkland Avenue in NDG in 2025. The draw is an entirely gluten-free menu built around Brazilian street food, chiefly tapioca crêpes: pan-fried, folded in half, and coloured white, pink, or green with natural ingredients like beets. Fillings run from the Eggs in Love (scrambled eggs, mozzarella, tomato, basil, and avocado on a pink beet base) to the bestselling We The North, with shredded beef, cheddar, and house sauce. Açaí bowls, pão de queijo, and fresh juices round things out, portions are generous, prices stay modest, and catering is available.
