Chez Cécile

Cécile is a rotisserie-focused restaurant from Groupe Les Cavistes on Fleury Ouest in Ahuntsic, named after the grandmother of co-owner Robert Herrera. The room seats 36 in an Anglo-vintage setting of dark tapestries, solid wood furniture, and eclectic frames and mirrors, all designed to evoke a family dinner.
Chef Benjamin Gilker, a Nova Scotia native who came up through Lawrence, H4C, and Fat Rabbit, builds his menu around a European rotisserie salvaged from Toqué. Chicken, quail, whole fish, and pork turn on the spit, while the same flame produces jus, gravies, and roasted vegetables. The cooking draws on Acadian and Quebecois traditions, refined with fine dining technique. Sundays and Mondays bring an English-style roast menu that rotates seasonally.
The wine list leans into grenache across various terroirs, backed by local beers and cocktails.
