Le Nadia

Billed as "the first sports venue in Canada dedicated entirely to women's sports", Le Nadia rewrites the city’s standard sports bar formula in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve: Opened by Catherine D. Lapointe and Caroline Côté, the 850-square-foot space is devoted to broadcasting women’s sports—hockey, soccer, floorball, Olympic qualifiers—whatever’s on, as long as it centres female athletes. The name nods to Nadia Comăneci’s perfect 10 at the 1976 Montreal Games, a moment that still lingers in the city’s collective memory.
Inside, the atmosphere skews café with softer lighting, pastel walls, and music low enough for conversation. There’s room for about 60 during bigger matchups, plus talks and community events that extend beyond the screen. The menu leans snackable with things like house-made corn bread, labneh, popcorn, and sandwiches alongside coffee, local beer, cocktails, and mocktails.
