Named after the founders’ mother, Mama C is a modern Greek restaurant in Old Montréal that moves comfortably between café, aperitivo spot, and dinner destination. Mornings lean Mediterranean in practice rather than theme: espresso drinks and freddo, croissants and Greek pastries, yogurt bowls, toasts, and simple sandwiches. By late afternoon, the menu shifts toward small plates designed for sharing—oysters with caper mignonette, tartares, crudos, grilled skewers, and mezze—supported by spritzes, cocktails, and Greek wines. Dinner centres on wood-charcoal grilling, with seafood, meats, and vegetables cooked over open flame and finished simply with herbs, citrus, and olive oil.
