Tostadito

What started in 2019 as Pedro Moreno’s dream is now a full-fledged family-run spot in Saint-Léonard, holding it down with arepas, tamales, and bandejas paisas that taste like they’ve been passed down for generations. After surviving a pandemic and a kitchen fire, the Moreno family doubled down: revamped menu, improved service, and an unshakable focus on tradition. The breakfast lineup is strong—caldos, calentados, and egg plates with steaming café or chocolate—but the heart of the place is in the arepas: stuffed with pulled beef, crispy chicharrón, or plantains and beans. Street food classics like empanadas and salchipapas keep things casual, while mains like grilled meats or the massive picada platters bring the crowd. Tostadito is part bistro, part bakery, part Colombian comfort zone—and it shows in every plate.
