Artgang

For anyone who wants Montreal pride without the tourist trap aesthetic, Artgang has been making locally rooted streetwear since 2010, back when the collective started as a crew of friends and creatives in 2005.

Their shop on Saint-Laurent carries their own line—think MTL varsity jackets, New Era caps with subtle city references, and graphic tees that nod to Montreal iconography like bagels and the Plateau—but the real draw is how they balance wearable designs with an art-forward sensibility.

Artgang curates and co-produces work with graffiti artists and contemporary creators, so the space feels less like a merch shop and more like a gallery that happens to sell hoodies. Prices are reasonable, and everything's designed with enough restraint that you can wear it without looking like you're trying too hard.
