Chef Vincent Châtelais opened Heirloom in 2017, next door to his bring-your-own-wine spot, État-Major. Châtelais crafted the menu while thinking about generations of Italian winemakers and tomato growers, hinted at in the restaurant’s name. Neapolitan-style pies are fired in a wood oven shipped over from Italy, alongside fresh pastas, hearty salads, and charcuterie. It’s a casual spot, with tiled floors and tables sans white tablecloth, but the kind of place you can spend a nice dinner over good food and drinks.
