Orange Café

About
Opening in 2002, Café Orange is an NDG staple destination for all-day breakfast and lunch. Self-described as “Not fine dining. Not fast food,” the restaurant exists in a vast middle ground, churning out comfort food like eggs Benedict, omelettes, pancakes, and the favourite O.C. breakfast sandwich: fried egg, bacon, and potato latkes between two pieces of French toast and topped with cheddar. Inside is what you’d expect from a more-than-20-year-old diner: worn-in booths, tables, and chairs, and a sense of familiarity.
