Bocca Di Lupo

Bocca di Lupo is the passion project nine years in the making for Joe Franchini and Jamie Sunny, the duo behind Flyjin. A few minutes' walk from their flagship on Notre-Dame Ouest, this Old Montreal trattoria operates as café, bar, and dining room simultaneously—espresso in the afternoon, pasta dinners by night.
The menu’s grounded in Italian tradition and the usual you’ll see elsewhere in town: cavatelli with sausage and rapini, chicken parmigiana that earns every calorie, and crudo. The wine list, assembled by a sommelier formerly of Jatoba, skews Italian and approachable, with a few Barolos for the committed. The stone walls, sandblasted back to life after years under grey paint, do most of the decorating.
