The Bulletin: Welcome to a brand new year, Montreal [Issue #162]

2025 has been one for the books at The Main.

Before we truly jump into the new year, we wanted to take a moment to look back at what was been an overwhelming year (in the best possible way). What started as a simple mission to tell stories about the city we love has grown into something bigger that’s been shaped by your curiosity, support, and belief in what we’re building.

When people ask, “what have you been up to? How’s The Main?” my usual reflex is to ask how much time they have.

We grew our team, welcomed dozens of new contributors, and launched an internship program to help young journalists get their start. We published more stories than ever before and reached over 3 million people in just one month, a milestone that still feels surreal.
