The Bulletin: A landmark burns, a brunch legend returns, and an après-ski with Russian disco [Issue #165]

The Bulletin is a collection of what's happened, what’s happening, and what’s to come in and around Montreal.

At this time of year, you don't wait out in the cold, you lean into it.

Igloofest's back for round two, Dômesicle's spinning under the dome, vintage racks are overflowing, and neighbourhood bars are marking milestones worth toasting. Catch Lynch at Cinema Du Parc, soak in a beer bath, or roll through Saint-Léonard's new retro rink—there's more than you think (as per usual).

Meanwhile, the week brought its share of headlines: a devastating fire threatened a century-old landmark and caused huge traffic jams, a longstanding nightclub announced its final bow, Le Passé Composé announced it's gonna be serving up elaborate eggs Benny again, and Canada's shiny new light-rail systems reminded us they still haven't figured out winter.
