Morning, Montreal.
The other day, I had a close friend and reader of the magazine ask why we've begun to include a 'One Story to Read This Week' section in the Bulletin. The answer to this is simple: The Main is putting a lot of time and energy not only into doing richly detailed stories, but doing said stories at a decent clip. Coming to our shop each week means you'll be walking out with at least one in-depth story.
Thing is, beyond the chances that you'll encounter these stories on an algorithmically-based feed on socials or see it in a newsletter we send out, stories—even lovingly crafted ones—can quickly disappear into the ethereal churn of the internet. With that in mind, we felt it important to take a moment and dig through the archives each week to show off the amazing work of our staff and contributors.
