Palomosa's stated mission is to "bring Internet culture into the physical world" since its first edition in 2024 at Parc Jean-Drapeau, something that bigger summer fixtures don't always bother with: programming that speaks directly to a generation that grew up on SoundCloud, Drain Gang, and PC Music, while still pulling in older listeners who remember when artists were indie darlings and not algorithm legends.
Past editions brought M.I.A., Gesaffelstein, Arca, Yung Lean, and Jai Paul to the island. The 2026 lineup continues that logic, but also marks a calendar shift.
After two September editions, Palomosa moves to May 14–16, positioning itself as the city's official summer opener. Osheaga and LASSO largely own August at the same venue, which puts Palomosa as the prospector staking a claim on the front end of the season.
