      Montreal Metropolitan Airport

Saint-Hubert Airport has been sitting quietly on the South Shore since 1927, long enough to hold the title of Canada's oldest airport and carry a history most Montrealers have probably never thought much about. This summer, it comes back.

The new terminal at the Montreal Metropolitan Airport or MET opens June 15, giving Greater Montreal its second commercial airport for the first time since Dorval absorbed all commercial traffic in 1940.

Porter Airlines and Pascan Aviation will be the first carriers operating there, with Porter launching 12 coast-to-coast routes within the first week of opening, including flights to Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Halifax, and St. John's. Six of those destinations will be new to Porter's Montreal network entirely.
