By the time rain arrived Sunday evening, somewhere around the time Clipse walked out on the Mountain Stage, everybody had dug in. Ponchos came out and umbrellas went up as Environment Canada issued a thunderstorm watch over the city. The music never stopped, which is more or less the story of OSHEAGA’s 19th edition.
The final count puts attendees at 151,000 people through the gates at Parc Jean-Drapeau across three days, with Saturday and Sunday sold out at 55,000 apiece and Friday sitting at approximately 90% capacity. Only 2023 has drawn better.
The crowd itself has shifted, too: 44% of ticket buyers were between 18 and 24, up nine points from last year, and for the first time in a while, most of the people on the island were from here.
