Pasta Casareccia has been serving NDG since 1985. What began as a family-run counter selling house-made noodles and imported olive oil grew into a full restaurant and boutique where everything—from lasagna to rigatoni alla Norcina—is made daily in the back kitchen.
Owner Mauro Petraccone practically grew up here, swearing he’d never take over the place, only to return decades later as its guardian. The menu reads like a roll call of Italian comfort: saucy pastas, risotti, veal Parm, and the lasagna that keeps the lights on. Between its shelves of take-home pasta and its dining room murals by Danny Rebel, Casareccia remains a neighbourhood constant.
