      Two names have taken up top 10 spots in the annual cross-country restaurant rankings from Air Canada's enRoute magazine.

      In the Air Canada magazine enRoute’s highly anticipated Best New Restaurants list for 2024, Montreal's taken two spots in a list that celebrates a new wave of chefs and concepts redefining Canadian dining.

      Taking the #1 spot is Sabayon in Pointe-Saint-Charles from chef Patrice Demers and sommelier Marie-Josée Beaudoin, while Parapluie in Mile-Ex nabbed the #6 spot. Just outside of Montreal, Maison de Soma in the Laurentians acquired the #3 spot.

      These weren't the only Montreal restaurants to make the long list: HENI, Île-de-France on the ninth floor of the Eaton Centre, Juliette Plaza, and Casavant had a shot at the top 10 as well.
