As Christmas approaches, Montreal's holiday and Christmas markets are popping up across the city (and this year, even we are joining in—more on that in a moment). Throughout November and December, you'll find everything from sprawling downtown spectacles to neighbourhood pop-ups in church basements, each with its own energy. Some lean into maximum festivity with mulled wine and twinkling lights, others keep it low-key with local makers and strong coffee.
